The ORIGINAL orange-sausage self-sealing SMB - much copied but never beaten

We have 2 models - the SMBC and the SMBCi - both available in 3 high visibility colour schemes: all-red, red & yellow, and all-yellow.

The SMBC is the original self-sealing surface marker buoy with AP5 dump/over-pressure valve and our unique duckbill seal in the mouth which closes shut on inflation so that the SMB remains inflated at the surface.

The SMBCi is identical to the SMBC but also features a 0.1 litre 232bar inflation mini-cylinder (available in either DIN or International A-clamp).

Both models can be easily filled underwater from your second stage or spare air system. Both roll up neatly for pocket storage, attachment to a D ring or stowage in the custom SMB pouch on the BUDDY Commando and Explorer BCDs.

The self-sealing baffle allows the SMBs to be waved at the surface (without deflating) to attract attention. They are ideal as delayed-action SMBs or they can be inflated at the start of the dive and towed throughout as a standard diver marker buoy.

The all-yellow versions are ideal signal buoys - for example to warn the surface support of an impending out-of-gas situation or any other pre-arranged communication. A message slate, reflector or ID marker can also be attached to the top eyelet.

The half-red, half-yellow models offer high-visibility contrast, and again, make ideal signal buoys, delayed SMBs or dive marker buoys.
